The Waynesboro Heritage Museum is housed in a renovated, turn-of-the-century bank building in the heart of downtown Waynesboro. The museum details the history of the city in its 2,000 square feet of permanent gallery space. The two original bank vaults remain intact as part of the permanent exhibition. The revolving exhibit gallery presents at least three new exhibits annually and highlights new acquisitions and artifacts from Waynesboro's Archives and Artifacts Collection. Our media room features continuous screenings and there is something for everyone in the gift shop.
